3 Most interesting things about New Zealand





1 the Maori name of New Zealand is Aotearoa which means the long white cloud.





2 New Zealand are also called kiwis but kiwi not as fruit it is new Zealand's flightless bird.





3 Queen Elizabeth the 2 is officially queen of New Zealand, represented in the country by a government.

    Those are some interesting facts about New Zealand! What a unique and special bird we have, don't you think? Do you have friends who are from another country and do they call you a Kiwi? When I go to visit my friends in Australia, Taiwan or South Africa, they call me a Kiwi! They thought it was funny to be calling me a bird but I told them it is a normal nickname here in New Zealand. I read about Kings and Queens all the time in fairy tales, books and movies so I think it's pretty awesome that our country has a Queen. Would you want to be a part of the royal family?
